I grew up in a university town. My parents had a driving school and did their best to succeed in life without degrees and to support their children financially.

In the next 13 years, I would safely mature, mainly on the sofa in my mom's home. After New York, I would still work 7 months for Thomson Reuters in Brussels, but it was just impossible for me to continue, and I decided to quit, even despite the financial consequences, mainly from the insurance of the company.

In the final year of my Master's in Economics at the KU Leuven, a Top 50 University globally as ranked by US News and Times Higher Education, I would experiment with drugs, go out, and get selected for a reality TV show. The show was called 'Lost in Tokyo'.
